  • FCRA Registration shall be granted to organizations which completed 3 years of establishment.
  • They should have spent atleast 10 lakhs towards its aims and objects during these 3 years excluding administrative expenditure.
  • Application in Form FC-3 needs to be filled and submitted with a nominal registration fees.
  • Once the application is done, the inspection is carried out by the MHA Department (FCRA Wing) for verifying the existence and genuinety of the organization and its members.
  • Based on the inspector’s report, the registration is either granted or the application is rejected.
  • The documents required for registration are given below:
  1. Statement of income for such utilization in form of audit report shall be required, duly audited by Chartered Accountant.
  2. Registration certificate, if registered as a Society or Trust Deed, in case of Trust.
  3. Activity report for previous 3 years –  A detailed report (preferably with photographs) has to be prepared wherein the activities carried out by the organization is listed.
  4. Image of the seal of the organization
  5.  Image of the signature of Chief Functionary

  • Details required for filling the Form FC-3 for registration:
  1. Details of all the members such as name , father’s name, nationality, occupation, relationship with other members, Aadhar number (not compulsory yet) and contact details (email id, mobile number etc…)
  2. Basic details of the organization such as registered address, contact number (separate from that of the chief functionary), email id, website address (not compulsory)
  3. Details of FCRA Designated Bank Account and utilization bank accounts, if any
  4. PAN of the Organization
  5. Main Aims &  Objects which can be filled form MOA/Trust Deed
  6. Nature of the organization for which only 5 options have been provided:

a) Religious; b) Cultural; c) Economic; d) Educational; e) Social

It can be chosen depending the nature of activities carried out by the organization
